butech facade systems in Architect 15, Thailand.
ARCHITECT is the largest international building sector exhibition in Thailand; it is an excellent business opportunity for the construction sector, not just for this important country, but for the entire ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Economic Community.
ARCHITECT is an annual exhibition for architecture professionals, which has taken place since 1986, except for the year 1990, to present. Thus, this year, the 29th edition of ARCHITECT has been held at Challenger Hall 1-3, Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, from Tuesday, April 28 until Sunday, May 03, 2015.
This year´s event has focused on the most advanced and innovative construction technologies, such as ventilated facades. In order to meet the interest brought about by these systems, PORCELANOSA´s client in Thailand, BOONTHAVORN CERAMIC, has been present with a large stand under the FACADE TECHNOLOGY brand by BOONTHAVORN.
Butech´s various façade systems have been shown at this stand, highlighting the KRION façades, as well as the new XLIGHT facade system, URBATEK´s superfine ceramics. These systems have attracted special interest because of butech´s recent Bangkok productions; the KRION façade at the country´s new French Embassy, and the facade refurbishment of Bangkok’s Emporium shopping center.
The opening of the stand was attended, in addition to BOONTHAVORN CERAMIC representatives, by Mr. Samuel Tortosa, butech´s technical office Manager, and Mr. José Luis Fenollosa, butech Manager
Due to the great participant demand, this year the space dedicated to the exhibition has been expanded up to 75,000 square meters, with which it is expected to exceed last year´s 700 exhibiting companies and over 350,000 visitors.
ARCHITECT 15 will be held under the concept "ASA NEXT l Thainess" to highlight the Thai identity and promote the exchange of experiences among Thai architects of all specialties. ARCHITECT 15 aims to be an international event that promotes the work of the country´s architects in the international scene, turning into a space in which to show the most recent achievements and discuss the challenges construction faces in Southeast Asia.
ARCHITECT 15 hosts seminars and forums with international speakers to contribute ideas on the most contemporary architecture. Additionally, there have been forums organized among material exhibitors where, in addition to presenting the most important innovations, the features and advantages over other materials were analyzed in depth.
